Mechanical Services associated with the construction of a new 10864m2 3-storey post primary school building. The new school accommodates 1000 students, the facilities include PE Hall & gym, 6 science laboratories, 6 technology subject rooms, ICT labs, library, canteen and sports facilities. The building also includes two ASD Units to cater for students with special education needs
This project was part of the Department of Education’s Rapid Build Programme.
This project was delivered using a Building Information Modelling (BIM) process including producing, developing, revising and maintaining a BIM model of the mechanical works through CDE.
Services include co-ordinating M&E Services, soils and wastes installation, hot and cold water services, heating and boiler house installation, air conditioning, radiant panel installation, BMS installation, rainwater harvesting, natural gas works, dust extraction installation and domestic plumbing including completion of health and safety file.
