University Hospital Sligo -Acute Mental Health Unit

This completed project consisted of Mechanical Services associated with the construction of a new part single storey and part two story acute mental health unit along with stores and ancillary hospital accommodation including a link to the main hospital. The new building is co-located on the hospital site and consists of 25 single bed accommodation with en-suites. The gross floor area of the new building is approximately 3,500m2.

Included co-ordinating M&E Services, soils & waste, water services, underfloor heating, ventilation and complex controls. Connections from new services to existing system within the main hospital building was required which involved works within live public / patient areas. Installation was fully compliant with all current applicable standards and legislation.
